Salon Owner, Hairstylist
With over 16 years of experience in the beauty industry and a passion for transforming one's self through cosmetology, Nathaniel decided to open Recovery Salon in 2021. As a business owner, his mantra is to deliver a high-quality, personalized beauty experience where every client leaves feeling their best self.
Specializing in hair color, extensions, and precision haircuts, Nathaniel combines technical skill with a keen eye for detail. Beyond his commitment to client satisfaction, he envisions Recovery Salon as a safe, inspiring space where stylists could work collaboratively, and grow professionally. This commitment to both artistry and community has made Nathaniel a trusted leader in the industry and a favorite among clients and colleagues alike.
Donita Fredrick
Hairstylist, Men's Groomer
With 32 years of experience in the beauty industry, Donita is a true expert in her craft. Specializing in perms, short cuts, and men’s haircuts, she is dedicated to uplifting clients with a refreshed look. Her current favorite product is L’anza Trauma treatment, a leave-in deep conditioning treatment that can also be added to color.
Happily married for 38 years, Donita cherishes her five children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Proud plant mom as well, Donita also loves health and the power of Frequency, and what that can do for the body.
Samantha Ayalla
Esthetician
Samantha graduated from Crave Beauty Academy and has been an esthetician for over 5 years. Her expertise offers lash extensions, skin treatments, makeup and waxing. Her specialties are facials and volume lashes! Her favorite product is the Skin Script Ageless Hydrating Serum.
Samantha is a dog mom to two fur babies Puddles and Echo. Samantha's go to coffee order is an iced brown sugar shaken espresso with oat milk.
Megan Downs
Hair Colorist
Megan graduated from cosmetology school In 2009 and has been doing hair for 13 years. A married woman with three kids, she cherishes spending quality time with her family.
Her area of expertise is hair coloring, with an affinity for blondes—all day every day. Two things she always has on hand are It’s A 10 Blow Dry Spray and Redken Gradient Shampoo for blondes.

Lexie will have had her license for 5 years on Halloween! She graduated from Hays Academy of Hair Design in Hays, KS. Lexie’s speciality beauty service is hand painted balayages. It gives her clients lots of flexibility with their color and how often they need to come in. Her favorite product she couldn’t live without is Berlin Dry Shampoo from Pulp Riot. She says it’s seriously the best dry shampoo she has ever tried and helps maintain her hair styles the following day.

Katherine has done hair for 14 years, and she graduated from Eric Fisher Academy in 2009. Katherine has a specialty in hair coloring and men’s haircuts.
She is married with two little ones as well as a proud dog mom of a golden retriever and golden doodle. Her guilty pleasure is shopping.
